Below you will find a number of questions
often asked by our 'first time' guests. If your query isn't
here, please do get in touch and we will do our best to answer you.
All bed linen is supplied in the cottage, and there
is some extra bedding in case our guests find the North Antrim Coast
cold. We do ask you to bring personal towels, although these
can be provided at an extra cost. (£1 per towel)
The games room is open from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m..
It is has a table tennis table, and pool table. The pool table
costs 40p for a game, and table tennis bats and balls are available
from reception. ( We ask for £5 deposit and give £4
back at the end of your stay.) There is a lovely view from
the games room, and it is often used by groups for meetings, or
'get together' brunches. We are very adaptable, and can usually
accommodate your requests. A film crew once used it as a make-up
studio!
Unfortunately we cannot welcome dogs. Our cat
is very strict about the enforcement of this rule, although unknown
to them we recently had a guinea pig called 'Ginge' staying in 'Lochaber'
cottage.
We love to welcome families to the cottages, and
feel it is very suitable and safe for them. There is no traffic
through the site except cottage traffic, and the grassed area is
suitable for playing on. Little ones can push prams or use 'sit-on'
toys or bikes around the site.
In low and mid-season we can usually fit in with
your plans. So if you have got a very early flight or ferry
and would love to be able to get in to the cottage for a rest after
travelling do get in touch. I'm sure we can accommodate you.
Similarly, if you are going to be very late we can make arrangements
to make sure your cottage will be warm and welcoming for your arrival.
Again we can usually meet your needs in low and mid-season.
However in high season we do need to be able to begin cleaning the
cottages at about 10.30 a.m. so we are ready for our new guests
arriving later in the day.
We can certainly leave in a selection of food for
you on arrival. We do charge for this, and will leave you
your receipt. The welcome pack usually contains, tea, coffee, sugar,
milk, orange juice, bread, cheese, cereal, biscuits, or any thing
else you particularly want.
We leave a selection of cleaning materials in the
cottage, including dish washing powder for the dish washer.
